A case of a strange love affair has come to light from Hisar, Haryana, which has brought a laughing family to the streets.
42-year-old Vijay, living in Gangwa village of Hisar, has eloped with his 50-year-old girlfriend, leaving his 5 children and wife destitute. The victim’s wife is now forced to drive an e-rickshaw to feed her children. This incident took place on June 20, but even after several days there was no trace of the husband, the helpless wife narrated her ordeal to the police and media.
The victim’s wife Maya Devi told that she was married to Vijay about 20 years ago. Vijay is a driver by profession. Vijay’s behavior had changed a lot since some time. On June 20, Maya Devi came to know that her husband was having an affair with another woman. When she reached her husband’s girlfriend’s house in Rishi Nagar, the neighbors there told her that Vijay had been coming here for the last several months and the woman had introduced Vijay to the people nearby as her husband.
Gave information to son
The surprising thing is that Vijay did not hide this even from his family. He often used to tell his elder son and his brother (Maya’s brother-in-law) that “This is your second mother, this is my setting.” Brother-in-law was aware of this for the last two and a half years, but Vijay had threatened to kill him if he spoke out.
Husband ran away from home at 11 pm; Girlfriend already has two husbands
When Maya Devi inquired about the woman from her husband who had returned home on the night of June 20, a dispute broke out between the two. After this, Vijay came out of his house at around 11 pm and ran away taking his girlfriend Kamlesh with him. Vijay has left his mobile phone at home, while his girlfriend’s phone keeps switching off.
Maya told that the woman Kamlesh with whom her husband eloped has already married twice. Her first husband is retarded and Vijay is the third man to come into her life. Kamlesh also has an 18-year-old daughter, whom he sent to Haridwar just before running away.
Rented house, 5 children and compulsion to drive e-rickshaw
After this deception, Maya Devi is facing a big crisis of livelihood. Maya has 5 children, of which 3 daughters and 2 sons. She currently lives in a house on rent for Rs 2,500 per month. After her husband runs away, Maya drives an e-rickshaw on the streets of Hisar all day long to support the children and meet the household expenses. Maya tearfully said that her mother always told her that her husband was not a good person and that she should leave him, but she never listened to her mother. However, even today she is ready to forgive her husband and accept him for the future of her children, provided he returns home.
Police accused of negligence
Maya Devi alleges that after her husband’s disappearance, when she reached Azad Nagar police station pleading for justice, the police adopted a very insensitive attitude. According to Maya, instead of showing seriousness on her complaint, the policemen said, “If your husband ran away, he ran away, what can we do about it.” Due to this non-cooperative attitude of the police, the troubled woman is now forced to stumble from door to door.
