Now along with farming, he is also running an excellent agriculture based website. He is the CEO of the firm he has created and is making a turnover of crores by running a firm related to farming. At the same time, these youth who earn crores by farming are becoming a source of inspiration for other farmers.
Farmer Abhishek Dwivedi, resident of Hardoi district, says that after completing his studies, there was no means of employment. In his free time, he started taking interest in Hindutva activities. As a Hindu leader, he was spending his time by doing social service. He told that he is inspired by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. He often talks about farmers in the program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Inspired by him, Abhishek started farming.
Earning by growing vegetables
Today, he is growing many crops like bottle gourd, ridge gourd, lady’s finger, bitter gourd, pumpkin, tomato and cabbage in his fields. Apart from this, carrots, radish, turnip and beetroot etc. are being grown in winter. Farming done with cow urine and dung is completely organic and its vegetables are in high demand in the market. Compared to other vegetables, crops grown through organic methods are sold at good prices.
Abhishek told that now his business is also making the nearby farmers aware. At the same time, Abhishek keeps making the nearby farmers aware through Chaupal and also provides good seeds to the nearby farmers. However, the government also gives grant for doing this type of farming and this grant gives good subsidy.
Annual turnover of Rs 16 crore
Conscious experienced farmer Abhishek Dwivedi said that taking benefit from the government schemes, he has also started his own website. He is also running a firm, in which he is producing many products including cow ghee, pickles, mustard oil, honey, which are well consumed in the market. There is no adulteration of any kind in it. From time to time, officials of the Government Horticulture and Agriculture Department inspect their farms and give good advice. The effect of which is visible on their daily work also. Abhishek told that he is making a turnover of about Rs 16 crore in a year from farming business.
