This financial support provided an opportunity to realize his business dreams.
Increase income by starting multiple businesses simultaneously
Kanti Sahu decided to work in different fields instead of relying on just one business. He started Dona-Pattal manufacturing unit, paddy agriculture seed centre, matching center and tailoring center for textile business. His strategy of investing in diverse businesses proved successful and gradually all his ventures became strong sources of income.
Husband’s support made the journey of struggle easier
Kanti Sahu says that the important contribution of her husband Mahendra Sahu is behind her success. Her husband supported her throughout every challenging phase, from starting the business to establishing it. The combined hard work and dedication of both of them turned difficult circumstances into opportunities.
Annual income more than Rs 3 lakh, Didi became Lakhpati
Today all the businesses of Kanti Sahu are running successfully. At present the monthly turnover of his enterprises has reached approximately Rs 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh. From this he is getting a net profit of Rs 30 to 35 thousand every month. Thus her annual net income has crossed Rs 3 lakh and she has officially achieved the status of ‘Lakhpati Didi’.
Kanti Sahu became an example of women empowerment
With financial strength, Kanti Sahu’s confidence has also increased. Today she is fulfilling the needs of her family in a better way. Along with this, she is also motivating other women of the village for self-employment and self-reliance. Their success proves that given the right guidance, financial support and opportunities, rural women can not only change their lives but can also set a new example of women empowerment in the society.
