Riding high on the success of India’s Oscar nominee , Phool aka   is reportedly set to surprise audiences yet again with a completely different avatar.

The young actress, who won hearts with her innocence and natural performance in her debut film, has now ventured into the horror-comedy genre with a project backed by Ekta Kapoor. While details about the film remain tightly under wraps, early reports suggest that Nitanshi’s role will be both shocking and refreshingly unique, becoming a first of its kind part in her career trajectory.

Nitanshi Goel’s horror-comedy avatar

According to a report in Filmfare, Nitanshi has already wrapped up shooting for the project, which is being positioned as a horror-comedy, one of Bollywood’s most commercially successful genres in recent years. Nitanshi’s entry into this space is being seen as a strategic and exciting move.

The report further reveals that Nitanshi’s character will showcase a fascinating duality. She is expected to portray a role that combines innocence with a supernatural edge, something that allows her to explore contrasting emotional and psychological layers. This layered character is said to be central to the narrative, giving the actress ample scope to demonstrate her versatility beyond the girl next door role she played in Laapataa Ladies.

Nitanshi Goel’s upcoming films

While the makers have not officially announced the project yet, the buzz has only intensified with speculation about its cast and storyline. Interestingly, earlier reports also linked Nitanshi to a film backed by Ekta Kapoor’s production house, tentatively titled 100. The project is reportedly directed by Sajid Khan and features Yashvardhan Ahuja, son of actor Govinda, in a key role.

In an earlier chat with Zoom, Sunita Ahuja had confirmed about her son’s involvement in the film and expressed confidence in its box office potential. She also spoke warmly about Nitanshi, describing her as a “very sweet girl” and being optimistic that the film would be a major success and earn ‘more than Rs 200 crore’ at the box office.

Filmfare has also reported that Abhay Verma and Nitanshi Goel are being considered for an upcoming love story. The project will be directed by Ratna Sinha under the Benaras Media banner. This might be a sequel to Sinha’s popular romantic drama Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.

Nitanshi’s journey so far has been nothing short of impressive. Before making her big-screen debut, she appeared in television shows like Ishqbaaaz and Daayan, gradually building her presence as a promising young performer. However, it was her role in Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao, that truly put her on the map.
