Krishnapingala Sankashti Chaturthi 2026: The fast of Sankashti Chaturthi has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. This fast has been dedicated to the remover of obstacles and the first revered Lord Ganesha. Sankashti Chaturthi fast is observed every month on the Chaturthi date of Krishna Paksha. The fast falling on the Chaturthi date of Krishna Paksha of Ashadha month is called Krishnapingal Sankashti Chaturthi. On this day, Lord Ganesha is worshiped with rituals.
There is a religious belief that by worshiping and fasting on the day of Krishnapingal Sankashti Chaturthi, one gets the special blessings of Lord Ganesha. - According to Drik Panchang, this year the Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashadha month will start on July 03 at 11.20 am.
- This Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashadh month will end the next day on July 4 at 12:39 pm.
Special attention is paid to moonrise during the fast of Sankashti Chaturthi. Moonrise is being received on 03 July on the Chaturthi date of Krishna Paksha of Ashadh month. moonrise on this day It will be at 09:53. Therefore, this year the fast of Krishnapingal Sankashti Chaturthi will be observed on 03 July.
Krishnapingala Sankashti Chaturthi auspicious time (Krishnapingala Sankashti Chaturthi 2026 Subh Muhurat)
On the day of Krishnapingal Sankashti Chaturthi, Brahma Muhurta will be from 04:07 AM to 04:47 AM. Whereas Abhijeet Muhurta will be from 11:57 am to 12:53 pm. At the time of worship of Lord Ganesha, the auspicious time for profit and progress will be from 07:12 to 08:56. Whereas Amrit-Sarvattam Muhurat will be from 08:56 am to 10:41 am.
Worship Lord Ganesha in Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga
Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will be formed on the day of Krishnapingal Sankashti Chaturthi this year. On this day, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will be from 05:28 am to 11:46 am in the morning. Worship Lord Ganesha in this yoga.
Krishnapingala Sankashti Chaturthi Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Krishnapingal Sankashti Chaturthi fast, first of all wake up early, clean the house and take bath.
- Then take a resolution to worship Lord Ganesha. After this, sit in front of the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha and worship him.
- Use lamps, incense, fruits, flowers etc. in worship. Listen to the story of Lord Ganesha. Do bhajan kirtan.
- At the end of the fast, feed the devotee the food (Prasad) offered to Lord Ganesha.
- After this meal, take a pledge to complete the fast.
