Korean Kanakaraju’ Second Single ‘Raasa Gummadi’ Out; Varun Tej’s Energetic Folk Dance Steals the Show

Mega Prince Varun Tej is gearing up to entertain audiences in a completely new avatar with the upcoming horror-comedy Korean Kanakaraju. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film promises a perfect blend of supernatural thrills and comedy, offering a refreshing theatrical experience. Backed by UV Creations in association with First Frame Entertainment, the film is currently in the final stages of post-production.

Following the impressive response to the film’s glimpse, teaser, and the chartbuster first single ‘Kamsahamnida’, the makers have now unveiled the second song, ‘Raasa Gummadi’.

Unlike the Korean-inspired flavour of the first track, ‘Raasa Gummadi’ celebrates the essence of Telugu folk music. Composed by S. Thaman, the song combines energetic beats, rustic instrumentation, and festive rhythms to create a vibrant mass entertainer.

The track begins with a female voice fondly referring to the protagonist as Vanne Rayudu, before transitioning into a lively village festival anthem. Nalgonda Gaddar’s earthy vocals and Kasarla Shyam’s catchy lyrics perfectly capture the spirit of rural celebrations, making the song instantly appealing.

Varun Tej grabs attention with his traditional yet stylish look, sporting ethnic attire paired with trendy sunglasses. His energetic dance moves elevate the festive mood, while the colourful carnival-themed visuals add grandeur to the song. Actress Daksha Nagarkar impresses with her glamorous appearance and spirited dance performance, sharing crackling chemistry with Varun Tej throughout the number.

Apart from Varun Tej, the film stars Ritika Nayak as the female lead, while comedian Satya plays a key entertaining role.

The technical team includes S. Thaman as the music composer, Manojh Reddy Katasani as the cinematographer, and Satyaa G as the editor.

Produced by UV Creations in association with First Frame Entertainment, Korean Kanakaraju is slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 7, promising audiences a fun-filled mix of horror, comedy, music, and entertainment.
