New Delhi: A sensational case of domestic dispute has come to light, where a man is accused of killing his wife and hiding her body in a trunk. According to preliminary investigation, before the incident the accused had allegedly asked for money from his wife to consume liquor. There was a dispute between the two over their refusal to give the money, after which the crime is alleged to have been committed.
Dispute over liquor money
According to the police, the accused had asked for money from his wife to buy liquor. There was an altercation between the two regarding this matter, which soon turned into a violent fight.
Body hidden in trunk after murder
Investigation revealed that after the death of his wife, the accused hid the body in a box kept in the house and fled from the spot. After some time, the neighbors became suspicious when a foul smell started coming from the house, after which the police was informed.
Police started investigation
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the body from the trunk and sent it for post-mortem. Evidence has been collected from the spot and the accused is being searched.
Search for the accused continues
Police say that the case is being investigated from every aspect. Raids are being conducted at many places to arrest the accused. Further legal action will be taken on the basis of post mortem report and other evidence.
