Kiara Advani was expecting her first child with Sidharth Malhotra when she made her Met Gala appearance. In 2025, the actress made a stylish debut at the Met Gala and flaunted her cute baby bump. Later, on July 15, the actress and her husband were blessed with their baby girl, Saraayah. In a recent interview, the Bollywood actress recalled walking the red carpet during her pregnancy. She shared that her daughter was calm during her appearance. Otherwise, the actress was at a phase of her pregnancy where she was ‘feeling kicks’ inside.

Speaking to Bombay Times, Kiara Advani admitted that she wanted to her pregnancy story to be a part of Met Gala. The actress further revealed that her daughter Saraayah was a good baby throughout. At the time of her appearance, Kiara shared that her baby girl made things easier and was calm.

She also called it a ‘personal moment’ and said, “I can’t wait to share it with her when she grows up and tell her that we were right there and doing all of this together.” In the same conversation, the actress reflected on how she embraced independence in a new phase of her life with Sidharth.
Kiara revealed that her husband has always been independent because he lived alone for a long time. When they got married, the Student of the Year actor taught his wife little things about living independently and running own home. She confessed that moving out of her parents’ home and starting her own family was an interesting transition. “Now as a mom, it’s a whole new ballgame. I feel time is so precious right now,” added Kiara. For the unversed, the actress got married to Sidharth on February 7, 2023.

On the work front, Kiara was last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s War 2. The actress shared screen space with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in the spy thriller. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie was theatrically released on August 14 last year. Next up, she will be seen in Geetu Mohandas’ .
Apart from her, the film’s star cast includes Yash, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara and Rukmini Vasanth. The film was scheduled to release in theatres on June 4. However, it’s release been delayed. Keep following this space for more updates!
