Kia India July sales hit record high at 28,200 units, rise 27% YoY

Kia India reported its highest-ever July wholesale performance since entering the Indian market, with dispatches to dealers rising 27.4% year-on-year to 28,200 units in July 2026.

The company had dispatched 22,135 units in July 2025.

Kia India’s cumulative wholesale dispatches during the January-July 2026 period stood at 1,91,949 units, registering a 16.8% growth compared with 1,64,274 units in the same period last year.

The company said the growth momentum was supported by sustained demand for its key models, including Seltos and Sonet, along with positive response to Carens Clavis, Carens Clavis EV and MY26 Syros.

The Seltos continued to remain a key volume driver for Kia India, averaging over 10,000 units in monthly sales since its launch in January, the company said. Seltos and Sonet recorded YTD growth of 75.7% and 34.5%, respectively.

Kia also highlighted strong customer response to the newly launched Syros EV, its second made-in-India mass-market electric SUV. The company said the model has received encouraging initial bookings, supported by features including a claimed range of over 500 km and advanced technology offerings.

Atul Sood, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said the record July performance reflected continued customer confidence in the brand’s product portfolio.

Kia India’s performance comes amid a strong month for passenger vehicle makers, with several automakers reporting double-digit growth in July dispatches.
