On Monday, the civil court accepted the anticipatory bail plea of Khan sir and his two bodyguards. However, the investigation of this case is not over yet and the police is continuing its investigation. This matter is related to the incident that happened last month, which created a lot of stir in the coaching hub of Patna. Even after getting relief from the court, the police continues to keep an eye on the entire episode.
What is the whole matter?
On June 2, there were allegations of some people entering the Khan Global Studies (KGS) campus in Musallahpur and causing vandalism and stone pelting. According to the police, the presence of about 15 to 20 people was reported at the spot. After this incident, an atmosphere of tension was created in the area. The day after the incident, a video quickly went viral on social media. In the video, two security guards of the institute were allegedly seen opening fire. After the video surfaced, the police detained both the guards and later sent them to judicial custody.
Weapons seized, forensic investigation ongoing
Police said the weapons claimed to be used in the incident have been seized. These weapons have been sent to the forensic lab for examination to clarify what is the connection between the viral video and the incident. An FIR has been registered in this matter at Kadamkuan police station. At present both the security guards are in judicial custody, while investigation into other aspects is going on.
Both sides accused each other
After the incident, Khan sir had alleged that the attack was carried out by people associated with a rival coaching institute. On the other hand, people of the concerned coaching institute rejected these allegations and claimed that the entire incident was conspired by Khan sir himself. Citing the viral video, the opposition party also described the firing incident as planned. However, Khan sir has completely denied all these allegations.
Relief from court, but investigation will be monitored
By getting anticipatory bail, Khan sir and his two bodyguards have definitely got legal relief for the time being, but it will not affect the investigation process.
