In Ajmer district of Rajasthan, the name of 45 year old ‘Khadim Tourist Bungalow’ was changed to ‘Ajaymeru’ today. Recently, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani had instructed the Tourism Department to change the name of Khadim Tourist Bungalows. Under this, the Tourism Department issued an order. Displeased with the change of name, Sarwar Chishti, secretary of Anjuman Committee, an organization associated with Ajmer Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah, issued a statement opposing it.
Sarwar Chishti said that sometimes the name of Allahabad is being changed, sometimes the name of Mughalsarai is being changed. The name of Kabhisarai Kalekhan is being changed. Sarwar Chishti said that seeing all this happening, it seems as if an attempt is being made to erase history, but it will not be erased with an eraser.
Changed name of Khadim Tourist Bungalow
Sarvarchishti said that now the name of Khadim Tourist Bungalow has been changed, which comes under RTDC. The BJP government has now changed its name to Ajaymeru. Sarvarchishti said that Taj Mahal, Red Fort and Qutub Minar should also be renamed. Supreme Court, President House, Parliament, High Court, Cantonment, Officer Bungalow, all these were given to the British. All these are symbols of slavery. Change their names also.

Sarwar Chishti said that cultural heritage is preserved in the world. You are trying to erase it. How to erase it? The British ruled and gave many things. Britishers gave university, school and civil service examinations. Delete all of these. This is very sad.
