Mother wrote an emotional letter to PM Modi
Pune (Maharashtra) [भारत]July 14 (ANI): In the Ketan Aggarwal murder case, victim’s mother Rakhi Aggarwal has written an emotional letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking justice and his personal intervention in the case of her son’s murder. Describing the devastating impact of the loss on her family, Rakhi Agarwal said her “whole world has been torn apart” after her son’s brutal murder. The letter read, “My son was brutally murdered, and with him, my entire world was gone. Every corner of our house reminds me of him. His room, his clothes, his photographs, and the silence that replaced his laughter remind me every day that he will never come back.”
Grandfather also died due to shock
The grieving mother also highlighted the double tragedy that befell the family following the incident. He reveals that Ketan’s grandfather, unable to bear the shock of the murder, passed away in less than three weeks. He wrote, “My father-in-law passed away just 20 days after Ketan’s death. Our family suffered another heartbreaking loss. He loved Ketan very much and could not bear the pain of losing his grandson. In a matter of days, our family lost two generations.”
Urging the Prime Minister to ensure that the matter does not get bogged down in bureaucratic delays, Rakhi Agarwal appealed to expedite the legal process. The letter further said, “With folded hands, I humbly request you to please ensure that my son’s case gets the attention it deserves and that justice is delivered without any unnecessary delay. Please do not let Ketan become just another case file. He was someone’s son, someone’s grandson, someone’s brother, but for me, he was my entire world.”
The mother ended her letter with a vow to keep fighting for her son, and expressed hope that the Prime Minister would hear her voice. She wrote, “Every night I look at his picture and say, ‘Son, mother is still fighting for you’. I only pray that one day I can tell him, ‘Son, you have got justice’. I sincerely hope that you will hear the voice of a grieving mother.”
Father appealed to the President for justice
Earlier on July 10, Ketan Agarwal’s father, Vishal Agarwal, had written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu urging a speedy investigation and speedy justice. He said the family was devastated by Ketan’s murder and the death of his father just 20 days later, which he attributed to the shock and grief of losing their grandson.
In an email addressed to the President’s Secretary, Vishal Agarwal appealed for the case to be heard in a fast-track court, saying his family does not want any special treatment but only timely justice. He wrote, “I am writing this email with a heart full of pain and hope. I am not writing as a businessman or any influential person. I am just a father seeking justice for his son.”
Recalling the impact the incident had on his family, Vishal Aggarwal said that his father could not bear the grief following Ketan’s death. “Within just 20 days of losing Ketan, I also lost my father. He loved his grandson more than anything. He could not bear the shock and grief of Ketan’s death. In just 20 days, I lost both my son and my father. Our family is shattered,” the email said.
