Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: It is said that the grief of losing a loved one is more deadly than any physical disease. Another mountain of sorrow has fallen on the Agarwal family, which is mourning the mysterious death of 250-year-old Ketan Agarwal, who fell from Lohgarh Fort in Pune. Ketan’s 71-year-old grandfather, Devichand Aggarwal, breathed his last at exactly 9:45 pm on Saturday night, exactly 17 days after his grandson’s death. According to doctors, after hearing the news of Ketan’s death, his condition was continuously deteriorating. But was it just an ordinary death, or was it the shock of a horrifying truth that shook the entire family to its foundations? The family clearly says that the elderly grandfather could not bear the pain of losing his grandson and his heart could not bear this deep shock.

‘The support of my old age is gone’: That last emotional roar of the old man sitting in the wheelchair
That scene just a few days before his death still brings tears to the eyes of the people of the entire housing society. On June 27, when a candle march was taken out demanding justice for Ketan, Devichand Aggarwal participated in it despite being seriously ill. While talking to media agency ANI, the elderly grandfather burst into tears in front of the camera. With a trembling voice and tearful eyes he had said, “The support of my old age is gone… Now for whom will I live?” But there was not just sadness in that cry, but a deep anger and a yearning for justice that drew the attention of the entire country towards this case. Despite illness, reached Candle March, did not give up the last hope of justice
On June 27, despite being unwell, Devichand Aggarwal participated in the candle march organized in his housing society. During that time he had made an emotional appeal for justice for his grandson. Amidst tears, he alleged that his family had been betrayed. He had said that the people whom he had trusted for decades had betrayed his family. He had demanded strict punishment against the main accused Sia Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary, saying that they should get the “death penalty”.
35 years of trust and that dreadful betrayal: Was everything pre-decided?
The most shocking aspect of this entire murder mystery is the ‘deception’ which broke the Aggarwal family from within. Before his death, Devichand Aggarwal had revealed the deep secret which had made this relationship a trap. He had told, “We knew the family of that girl (fiancée Siya Goyal) for the last 35 years. Little did we know that the person whom we had been trusting for decades would extinguish the light of our house.” The elder’s serious allegation was that the girl’s family was well aware that their daughter loved someone else. Despite this, Sia’s aunt and uncle continuously put pressure on the Agarwal family for this marriage. He had repeatedly told Devichand ji, “Don’t worry, the girl is very nice, everything will be fine.” But no one had any idea of the dreadful conspiracy that was brewing under the guise of this ‘trust’.

The dark truth of Lohgarh Fort: What happened on that evening of 18th June?
The mystery began on June 18 from the historic Lohgarh Fort located near Pune. 25-year-old Ketan Agarwal had gone there to hang out with his fiancee Siya Goyal, but he never returned alive. Initially an attempt was made to show it as an accident, but the vigilance of Pune Rural Police and Lonavala Rural Police soon exposed a well-planned murder conspiracy behind this accident. Investigation revealed that the main accused Siya Goyal was not happy with this marriage and was helpless before the pressure of her family. To avoid marriage at this stage of her life, she along with her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary made a plan that even the police officers got goosebumps.
‘Demo’ of murder in the open field: The inside story of the conspiracy which surprised even the police
The most shocking and suspenseful turn in this case came when the police was taking both the accused on remand and taking the investigation forward. On Thursday, Pune Rural Police took accused Siya Goyal to a deserted and open ground located in Lulla Nagar area of Pune. What was revealed there made this murder mystery even more serious. It was revealed that before pushing Ketan down from the hills of Lohgarh Fort, Siya and her lover Chetan Choudhary had rehearsed the entire murder plan (crime re-enactment) in the grounds of this Lulla Nagar. They had planned exactly how to lure Ketan to the edge of the ditch and how to push him down without any evidence.
Now two deaths have deepened the matter
Ketan Aggarwal’s death was already surrounded by many questions. Now his grandfather’s demise has made this whole matter more emotional and serious. The family is considering it not just an accident but the result of continuous mental trauma. On the other hand, the police is busy collecting evidence against Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary. The evidence and investigation reports to be presented in the court in the coming days will determine the entire truth behind Ketan Aggarwal’s death. At present, the Aggarwal family is reiterating only one demand amid double mourning – justice for Ketan. But amidst this fight for justice, the Aggarwal family has lost two important members of their family forever.
