The parents of Siya Goyal, arrested in this case, have come forward for the first time. Instead of defending the daughter, he clearly said in front of the media that if she is proved guilty in the investigation, then she should also get the harshest punishment under the law. ‘Ketan was like our son, this shock is bigger than words’
Sia’s father Praveen Goyal said that she had formed an emotional bond with Ketan and the family was busy preparing for the wedding. According to him, the wedding was planned in Udaipur and everyone was excited about the future. He said that it never felt like Sia was unhappy with the relationship or had any kind of resentment about the marriage. He also said that if Ketan’s family had informed about any problem, both the families could have sat and talked.
‘Whoever is guilty, he should be punished severely’
Siya Goyal’s father Praveen Goyal said in clear words that if his daughter’s role in this murder is proved then she too should not get any relief. He said that the strictest action should be taken as per the law. Siya’s mother also adopted the same stance. He said that Ketan was a very good natured young man and his death has devastated the world of both the families. He said that if anyone is found guilty, even if it is his daughter, she should be punished commensurate with her crime. He even said that if Siya was guilty then he should also be thrown down from the same fort.
Mother said- no big rift was ever seen in the relationship
According to Sia’s mother, after the engagement the relations between the two families were normal and good. He never felt that there was any serious dispute going on between Siya and Ketan. He says that if there was any kind of problem, the family would come together and try to find a solution to it. He also said that many types of allegations are coming to light only after the incident, whereas before this he was not aware of any such thing.
Police claims, the entire conspiracy was planned in advance
Police investigation has claimed that Ketan Aggarwal’s death was not a mere accident but a planned murder. According to the investigating agencies, Sia Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary had made the entire plan together. Based on digital evidence, mobile location, call records and other technical evidence, police say that the incident was part of a pre-planned plan. At present both the accused are in judicial custody and the investigation of the case is going on.
