Hitha Ramachandran, a young student from Peringome, Payyannur in Kerala’s Kannur district, has quickly made a name for herself as a successful video creator and social media influencer on popular platforms Josh and Instagram.
Known for her engaging content that includes acting recreations, smooth video transitions, and song covers, Hitha’s journey from casual posting to influencer status is a testament to her creativity and perseverance.
Hitha’s initial foray into video creation began during the lockdown, when she downloaded Josh as a way to pass the time. “I started posting videos for fun, but within five to six months, I hit 100,000 followers. The support was truly unbelievable,” she shared. In just two years, her consistent efforts paid off as she achieved verification status on Josh, solidifying her role as a notable content creator on the platform.
Reflecting on her journey, Hitha credits her family, friends, and supportive followers for her success. “I’m proud to be a creator, and my family and friends are just as proud of me. I haven’t faced any major challenges, though like many creators, I’ve dealt with occasional negative comments. But I’ve learned to rise above them, and I consider people’s appreciation as my greatest achievement.”
Hitha’s content strategy is largely inspired by her own creative process and supported by her community manager, who plays a significant role in guiding her growth. “Initially, I just posted whatever I felt like shooting, but my community manager helped shape my journey as a creator,” she explained. Although she doesn’t follow strict strategies, her approach has clearly resonated with her growing audience.
Her advice to aspiring creators is straightforward yet powerful: “Social media is a fantastic platform to showcase your skills and talents. There will always be people who try to bring you down, but don’t focus on them. Just do what you love.”
