A video of this sentence was also revealed on social media, after which the State Labor Department has ordered an inquiry into the workplace harassment. After the matter came to light, State Labor Minister V. Shivnakutty ordered an inquiry into the incident and directed the District Labor Officer to present the report immediately on the incident.

Knee on the floor

The video of the punishment given to the employees is going viral on social media. In it, an employee is tied with a lease and is seen forcing him to walk on the floor on his knees, as well as to lick the coin on the floor. Employees said that the employees of the firm who are unable to meet their targets. They are punished in this way. According to the police, the incident has come out from a private marketing firm.

Nobody complained

Police said that they did not get any complaint in this case and the landlord has denied the allegations. An official said that no case has been registered in this case so far. However, investigation is going on. Labor Minister Shivnakutty described the video revealed as “shocking and disturbing” and said that in a state like Kerala it cannot be accepted at any cost.

Ordered orders

He said, “I have ordered an inquiry into the incident and directed the District Labor Officer to submit a report in connection with the incident after investigation. The State Human Rights Commission registered a case in the incident on the basis of a complaint given by High Court lawyer Kulthur Jaisingh. Meanwhile, in the meantime, Kerala State Youth Commission also intervened and registered a case in the incident of harassment itself.
