Saif Ali Khan was stabbed several times during forcibly infiltration at Saif Ali Khan’s house on 16 January. During that time Saif was looking for anything to attack the attacker, but his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan left the attacker and first asked him to prioritize his safety and medical help. Kareena Kapoor Khan has said this in her statement to the police.
Kareena told the police that she had returned home at 1:20 pm on 16 January. He said, “Around 2 o’clock, Junu (younger son Jahangir’s Naini) came to our room shouting that a man had entered the room with a knife and demanding money.” After this, both Saif and Kareena ran towards Jahangir’s room. Kareena further said, “Saif faced the robber, asked him what he needed, and moved towards him. Saif and the robber had a scuffle. Saif had caught the accused, but the robber attacked Saif’s neck, back and hands with a knife.”

In her statement, Kareena further told the police that the second Naini, Geeta, ran to help Saif, but the robbers also attacked them, causing injuries in their hands. After this, Kareena shouted and said that Jahangir should be taken out of the room immediately. Kareena, both her sons and another Naini then ran to the upper floor of the duplex apartment. After some time Saif also came with him.

Kareena told that at that time there was bleeding from Saif’s neck and back. In his statement, he further told the police, “Saif was looking for anything around that we could attack the robbers. Till then our home help- Hare, Ramu, Ramesh and Paswan- came to help.
Police is strong evidence
Saif was taken to Lilavati Hospital in an auto-rickshaw, along with son Taimur and domestic help green. Kareena then contacted her sister Karishma Kapoor and manager Poonam Damani, whose husband informed the police, Saif also confirmed Kareena’s words in her statement. Saif said in his statement, “When I was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, the doctors said that a piece of knife has been removed from my back during surgery.” The actor underwent emergency surgery, in which a knife blade was drawn in his back. The Mumbai Police says that this charge sheet is strong, including statements of more than 48 witnesses, 25 CCTV footage, DNA test reports and other forensic and technical evidence.
