Be it Bollywood, Hollywood or South Industry, no superstar has been able to escape from ‘fan war’ till now. There used to be fan wars earlier too, but today in the age of social media, the ongoing disputes between fans of two big actors often go out of control. Dhananjayan, producer of Suriya’s film ‘Kanguwa’, which was recently released at Pan India level, has blamed two fan clubs and two political parties for the flop of ‘Kanguwa’ in Kollywood. According to information received from sources, the fan clubs that Dhananjayan is talking about are the two big fan clubs of Tamil industry superstar Thalapathy Vijay and actor Ajith Kumar.
According to the information, Surya’s fans, Thalapathy Vijay’s fans and actor Ajit Kumar’s fans do not get along with each other at all. This is the reason that when a film of one of these actors is released, the other two fandoms come together and start doing negative publicity for the film of the third actor. This negative publicity includes negative reviews, wrong narratives, deliberate trolls.
Kanguva’s trolling started with the release of the poster
Immediately after the announcement and poster release of Surya’s film ‘Kanguva’, fans of Thalapathy Vijay and Ajit Kumar started trolling this film of Surya. Many Vijay fans were calling this film an average film. Actually, these fans were taking revenge of the time when Surya’s fans joined hands with Ajit Kumar’s fans and trolled Vijay’s ‘GOAT’.
Can films flop because of fans?
After this allegation against producer Dhananjayan’s ‘fan club’, the question being asked is whether the fan clubs present on social media have the power to flop a film? When we talked about this with film expert and critic S Aarti, S Aarti said that when fans troll a film on social media, then the film definitely gets negative publicity, but it has an impact on the performance of the film. There is no special effect. You must have seen that Sunny Deol’s film Gadar 2 was trolled a lot and this film also got bad reviews. Still the film became a superhit. In Bollywood, fans of Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan often fight among themselves, but this neither affects the friendship of the actors nor their films.
Actors also ignore me
Many times, these fans, who fight with each other on social media for their favorite actors and abuse each other, have no idea that the people they are fighting for do not respect each other. They do it and they don’t care about these fights. Many times on public platforms SuryaActors like , Vijay and Ajith have also appealed to their fans to respect their fellow actors, but the young fans of these actors sometimes lose their senses in excitement.
