These rumors were sparked when some pictures and videos of her wearing vermilion, mangalsutra around her neck and green bangles went viral online. Kangana has made it clear in her Instagram post that she will not get married ‘secretly’.
These speculations intensified earlier this week when pictures of Kangana in traditional bridal attire surfaced on the internet. After this, fans started asking whether they had got married secretly. Now the actress has told that this look was part of the makeup of a character in her film.
Responding to these allegations on her Instagram account, Kangana wrote, “I am shooting in and around the city every day, someone took this picture in the character’s makeup and now I am getting so many calls. But what is the big deal about a married woman’s look? Actors play many different characters. I promise that I will not marry secretly.”
The truth about Kangana’s viral look is that many reports and fan accounts have said that this look is from the sets of ‘Queen’ sequel ‘Queen Forever’, the shooting of which is currently going on in South Mumbai. It is being told that the shooting of this film of director Vikas Bahl started in the beginning of this month. Some scenes have also been shot near Grant Road, where a set of the film’s lead character’s house has been built.
If we talk about the story of ‘Queen 2’, unlike the first film, which showed Queen’s trip to Paris and Amsterdam, the story of the sequel is set in India. According to reports, the story revolves around a major turning point in Rani’s life during her stay in Mumbai, which is a new beginning of self-discovery. Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon, who were part of the previous film, are reportedly not returning for the sequel. Bahl has replaced him with new actors, including some well-known faces from theatre.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Bahl had revealed that the sequel has been in the works for some time. He said, “We’ve been working on ‘Queen 2’ for a while, and we finally have something solid.” However, he did not give any further information about the film. 36-year-old Kangana has not announced any relationship nor has she talked publicly about her engagement or marriage preparations. In an old interview given to ANI in 2023, she had said that she wants to get married and start a family, but it will happen at the ‘right time’. Kangana’s next film is ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’. This film is based on a painful incident of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. It is scheduled to release in theaters on June 12.
