Prabhas starrer film Kalki 2898 AD is running like a wild horse at the box office. Looking at the advance booking figures, it was clear even before its release that the film is going to earn a lot of money. Now the scene is in front of our eyes. The film has earned so much money at the box office in just three days that big films of big stars have been left behind.

The worldwide earnings figures have been released on the official Instagram page of Kalki 2898 AD. The makers have claimed that the film has earned Rs 415 crore (gross) in just three days. These numbers are really surprising. At a time when the World Cup semi-finals and finals have been held and rain has broken records in many places in the country, it is not normal for a film to earn so much.

Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger was left behind

Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger, which was released in 2012, made a lot of money. At that time, this film surprised everyone by making a bumper collection in the theatres. The film did a business of around Rs 320 crore worldwide in a run of about 49 days and proved to be a blockbuster. But now Kalki, which was released in 2024, has surpassed the earnings of this Salman film in just three days.

Domestic box office business

Kalki has earned a strong amount of Rs 95.3 crore on the first day, Rs 57.6 crore on the second day and Rs 64.5 crore on the third day i.e. Saturday. This means that the film has done a total business of Rs 217.4 crore in five languages. Kalki has done a business of Rs 125.3 crore in Telugu, Rs 12.8 crore in Tamil, Rs 71.5 crore in Hindi, Rs 1.1 crore in Kannada and Rs 6.7 crore in Malayalam.
