The teaser of Salman Khan’s film ‘Black Deer’ based on the black deer controversy has been released. Earlier this teaser was to come on June 20. But the makers have released it 8 days in advance on Friday, June 12. Some familiar faces are also seen in this 2 minute 32 second teaser. The basis of the story was entirely based on Salman Khan’s Black Buck case and it was told how gangster Lawrence Bishnoi entered it. At first glance this teaser looks interesting. The ‘Black Deer’ teaser starts with a court scene, in which Ayaan Khan (changed name of Salman Khan) is shown standing in the dock and being cross-examined in the black buck poaching case. As the teaser progresses, the story moves from the Jodhpur court to the corridors of Mumbai, where Ayaan Khan is battling threats and attacks from Lawrence Bishnoi. From the role of police to the opposition of Bishnoi community, everything can be seen in this teaser.

Star cast of ‘Black Deer’
Kashif Iqbal Khan is playing the role of Ayaan Khan in ‘Black Deer’. He has completely tried to carry the look of Salman Khan. Or we can say that he looks a lot like him. Apart from him, veteran actor Govind Namdev will be seen in this film, who will play the role of a lawyer of Bishnoi community. Mukesh Tiwari will be seen in the role of a powerful police officer. Apart from all this, Kamlesh Sawant, Naresh Gosain, Dr. Nikunj Aggarwal also have important roles in the film. Prakash Joshi, Chandrabhan Singh, Rajesh Dahiya, Rishabh Arora, Pori, Aryan Mahajan, Ram Gangwar, Luvjeet, Sumit Tyagi and Shivani are being introduced in this film. The film has been directed by Bharat S, Srinet. The story has been written by Amit Jani and he has produced it under the banner of Jani Firefox Films. The release date of the film has not been announced yet.

Controversy over the film ‘Black Deer’
Salman Khan has reportedly sent a legal notice to casting director Akshay Pandey regarding the film ‘Black Deer’. According to reports, Salman’s legal team alleges that the film is said to be inspired by his famous blackbuck hunting case and references related to it are being used without permission. In the notice sent on April 24, 2026, a demand has been made to immediately stop all activities related to the development, production and promotion of the film. The notice states that Salman Khan has neither approved nor permitted the use of his name, image, personality or events related to him. Salman’s legal team also argues that the black buck case is still pending in the Rajasthan High Court. In such a situation, making a film on this subject can influence the judicial process and create prejudice against the actor before the final verdict comes. The notice also claims that the film may violate his personality, privacy and publicity rights and may be considered damaging to his reputation.
