Kajol’s quirky question: ‘When butterflies fall in love, do they feel humans in their stomach?’

Actor Kajol once again left her Instagram followers amused with a playful question after sharing pictures of herself in an elegant traditional look.

The actress posted photographs in which she was dressed in a yellow saree with a red border and a matching red blouse. She completed the look with a large red bindi, jhumkas and her hair tied neatly in a bun.

While her ethnic appearance drew praise from fans, it was her caption that grabbed attention.

“When butterflies fall in love…do they feel humans in their stomach?” Kajol wrote, accompanied by a thinking-face emoji.

The unusual question prompted a stream of witty responses from her followers. One user called her an “enchanting woman”, while another joked that her smile was responsible for giving everyone “butterflies in their stomach”.

Another follower attempted to offer a humorous explanation, while a separate comment quipped that if butterflies did feel humans in their stomachs, “those humans better be paying rent for staying in there”.

Kajol, who turned 52 on August 5, had earlier thanked fans for their birthday wishes through a social media post. Sharing two photographs of herself stuck in traffic, she said she did not want to write an “emotional essay” but felt she had to thank everyone who had taken time to message her, make a video or send their love.

Calling herself “lucky” to have a “delightfully crazy group of people” around her, Kajol sent her followers virtual hugs and playfully asked them to eat a piece of cake on her behalf.

She celebrated her birthday with actor Vatsal Sheth, with both of them seen cutting a cake in the presence of their respective family members.
