Marriages will not take place on Bhadli Navami this year

Before the start of Chaturmas, Bhadli Navami is considered to be the last Abuj Muhurta for all auspicious activities including marriage. This year, Bhadali Navami is on 22nd July 2026, but since Jupiter star will be setting on this day. Therefore there will be no marriages on this day.

Importance of Chaturmas

Chaturmas is considered to start from Devshayani Ekadashi. From this Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu goes into Yoga Nidra. Chaturmas is of four months.
