Bollywood actor John Abraham’s fans are eagerly waiting to see him as ACP Yashvardhan Singh once again. For those unaware, the Pathaan star is all set to reprise his role as a police officer in . Director Bhav Dhulia, known for Khakee: The Bihar Chapter and The Freelancer, is helming the third instalment of the hit action franchise. Tanya Maniktala and Harshvardhan Rane are also part of the project, which was slated to release in March 2027. The film went on floors in April this year, marking the beginning of its shoot schedule. Now, exclusive pictures show the actor in full form as production gets underway.

Sadly, he wasn’t spotted in uniform but in an off-duty look. Clad in an all-black outfit, John looked dapper as ever. He was seen in the middle of shots as he walked on the set with an assistant.

Force 3 Gets Bigger
The Force series started in 2011. Directed by Nishikant Kamat, it starred alongside Genelia D’Souza. The film gained a separate fanbase for its action and strong story. In 2016, its sequel hit the theatres. It was directed by Abhinay Deo and continued the story in an espionage setting. The second instalment starred Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead.
Now, Force 3 is a new chapter in the franchise. Sanam Teri Kasam star Harshvardhan Rane has come on board for the project. Confirming the update, he wrote on Instagram, “All I can do at this moment is thank this angel of a man called John Sir, while I look upwards and thank whoever is doing this from up there, can’t wait to begin shoot in March 2026. (No other details till I begin the shoot).”
Talking about the actioner, recently said that Force has always been a franchise he strongly believes in, known for its grit and identity that audiences connect with. He added that Force 3 will carry the legacy forward and introduce Harshvardhan Rane as an action hero. He called it a special collaboration, based on trust and shared belief in the story.
The film is written by Simaab Hashmi. Sheel Kumar, Shahbaz Alam, John Abraham, Sandeep Leyzell, and Minnakshi Das are bankrolling the project. Meanwhile, Ravi Basrur is composing the music, while Irshad Kamil is writing the songs.
Force 3, touted as an adrenaline-filled ride for action lovers, is slated to release in theatres on March 19, 2027.
