An encounter took place between terrorists and security forces in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Top police officials said that so far one terrorist has been killed in the Bandipora operation, while one army jawan and one CRPF jawan have been injured.
Officials said that security forces launched a cordon and search operation on Tuesday after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in Choontpathri forest area of Bandipora district. He told that the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, after which the security forces retaliated.
There was an attack with a grenade in the Sunday market.
Earlier on Sunday, terrorists had attacked a crowded area of Sunday market with a grenade in Srinagar. 12 people were injured in this attack. According to officials, terrorists had thrown a grenade in a crowded market near TRC, causing panic in the area.

But the culprits will not be spared. If someone gives shelter to terrorists, his house will be razed to the ground. There will be no compromise on this. Sinha said that some people give statements that those who give shelter to terrorists are being tortured. He said that, however, this is not atrocities, but a demand for justice and such justice will continue.
