Jharkhand: The party which won only one MLA also said that he will resign

In Jharkhand, an MLA from the party which has won the election has announced his resignation just a day after the results. Yes, in Jharkhand, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU Party) had contested the elections in alliance with BJP. But he suffered a crushing defeat. The party won only one seat whereas it had contested 10 seats in alliance with BJP. The most important thing is that the party president himself lost the election. AJSU chief Sudesh Mahato had to face defeat from Silli.

I will leave the seat for Sudesh Mahato – Nirmal Mahato

Disappointed with the defeat of his president, Nirmal Mahato has said that he will resign. He said that I thank all the people of Mandu Assembly for my victory but I am ready to leave this seat for Sudesh Mahato ji. After meeting him, we will soon resign from this seat. We will urge all the workers to prepare for the elections and send Sudesh Mahato to the assembly by making him MLA. Nirmal Mahato said that no one raises the problems of the lower level the way Sudesh Mahato does.

Sudesh Mahato is and will remain our leader – Nirmal

Nirmal Mahato said that winning and losing are different things. We need a leader who will raise the right issue. Our leader is Sudesh Mahato, was and will be throughout his life. A greater leader than Sudesh Mahato has not been born in Jharkhand and will never be born. In Mandu assembly seat, Nirmal Mahato defeated Jaiprakash Patel of Congress by just 231 votes. At the same time, AJSU Chief Sudesh Mahato lost the election from Sili seat. JMM’s Amit Kumar defeated him by 23867 votes. Kumar got 73169 votes while Mahato stood second with 49302 votes.

Hemant Soren created history in Jharkhand

In the Jharkhand Assembly elections, Hemant Soren’s party JMM won 34 seats. Whereas Congress has won 16 seats, RJD four and CPI(M) two seats. Apart from this, BJP won 21, AJSU one, LJP Ram Vilas one, Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha one, Janata Dal United won one seat.
