Hemant Soren will once again take command of the state. The swearing-in ceremony of Hemant Soren government will be organized on 28 November. Various preparations are being made for this. Many big leaders of the Indian alliance including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav are expected to attend the coronation of Hemant Soren. This information was given by a senior Congress leader on Monday. Apart from this, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee can also attend Soren’s swearing-in ceremony.
JMM captured 56 seats
Hemant Soren’s party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) led alliance has made a grand comeback in Jharkhand. JMM came to power for the second consecutive time by winning 56 seats in the 81-member assembly. All the efforts of BJP failed. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) could win only 24 seats out of 81. All the big leaders of BJP had campaigned vigorously. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also came to campaign, although the party could not get success here. Soren had contested from Barhat seat. His competition was against BJP’s Gamaliel Hembram. In the elections, Soren defeated Hembram by a margin of 39,791 votes.
Swearing in ceremony at Morhabadi Maidan
The Congress leader said that all the top leaders of the India Alliance are being invited to attend the swearing-in ceremony to be held at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi on November 28. He also said that as far as ministerial posts are concerned, there is every possibility that as per the initial plan of one ministerial post for every four seats won, there could be four ministers from Congress.
Last Sunday, Soren met Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and staked claim to form the government. Earlier, the leaders had unanimously elected him as the leader of the legislative party. Soren had resigned from the post of CM before staking claim to form the government. He will take charge as acting Chief Minister till the swearing in on November 28. Soren will take oath as the 14th Chief Minister of Jharkhand.
