You need 4 cups puffed rice (should be crispy), 1 cup Navratna chivda, 3 cups boiled white peas, 2 tbsp boiled black gram, 3/4 cup boiled potato pieces, 1/2 cup finely chopped tomato, 1/2 cup finely chopped onion, 1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber, 3 tbsp roasted peanuts, 2 tbsp freshly chopped coconut, 2 tsp finely chopped Chopped green chillies, 3 cups finely chopped coriander, 2 tbsp Jhalmuri masala, black salt as per taste, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp mustard oil. To garnish, sev, masala chana dal, finely chopped green coriander.

After preparing all the ingredients, making Jhalmuri is very easy. For this you will need a big bowl. First of all add puffed rice in it. After this, add Navratna Chivda, boiled white peas, black gram, boiled potatoes (cut into small cubes), finely chopped tomato, onion, cucumber. After this add fried peanuts, fresh chopped coconut, green chillies and coriander. Last of all, Jhalmuri masala, salt, lemon juice and the most important thing, mustard oil will go into it.

After adding all the ingredients, either toss it or mix it well with a spoon. After this, take it out in a plate and garnish with nylon sev, masala chana dal and some green coriander. If you want, you can also add papdi. Keep in mind that Jhalmuri should be prepared and served immediately, otherwise its crunch is lost.

To make Jhalmuri Masala, put roasted cumin, black salt, garam masala, mango powder, dry red chilli, fennel, coriander seeds, chaat masala together in a grinder and blend it. Your masala will be ready, store it in an airtight container.
