In Jammu and Kashmir, the administration is now on the performance of doctors in government hospitals. Actually, doctors who do good time and best treatment in private hospitals, do not even give time in government hospitals and do not treat patients. At the same time, after many such incidents came to light, the Jammu and Kashmir government has now decided to take strict action against such doctors.

In fact, the administration took action against the doctor in a similar case and banned him from doing private practice. When the Health Department came to know that this doctor had done 1807 surgeries in private hospitals. While the government hospitals where they are posted, they have not done a single surgery. In view of this, now the Health Department has made up its mind to take strict steps for such doctors.

Private practice serious violation of government instructions

In Jammu and Kashmir, Health Department Secretary Syed Abid Rashid himself has taken action against such a doctor and declared him banned from doing private practice. According to the Health Department, ‘State Health Agency Jammu and Kashmir evaluated the work of Dr. Hanif Dar under AB-PMJAY/AB PMJAY SEHAT scheme. This showed that he had done 1807 surgery in private hospitals, while no surgery has been registered under this scheme in GMC Srinagar.

While Dr. Hanif Dar is working in GMC Srinagar Hospital. At the same time, the work report from GMC confirms that despite being a full -time faculty member, his contribution to private practice is much higher than his contribution to government service. Explain that this is a serious violation of government instructions on private practice by Jammu and Kashmir Service Conduct Rules and Medical Faculty.

17,574 allopathic doctors in JK by 2022

Now, according to the relevant service rules, Dr. Hanif Dar, Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, Government Medical College, Srinagar have been banned from doing private practice in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect. The order issued said that, if disciplinary action will be taken as per service rules for not complying with it.

The Jammu and Kashmir Healthy Department has recently issued an order asking to ensure the presence of doctors in hospitals at the scheduled time. With this effort, along with the improvement in the patient care, the full healthy system will be cured and people will benefit. According to a data from the National Medical Commission, 17,574 allopathic doctors are registered in Jammu and Kashmir Medical Council by June 2022.
