‘Fashion Nova’ graduation show was organized at NIFT Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Avani Lavasa, Secretary, Transport Department, inaugurated the show and inspected the projects of the students. In this show, 100 students completed their graduation in various courses.
Budgam (Jammu and Kashmir) [भारत]July 19 (ANI): Avni Lavasa, Secretary, Transport Department, Jammu and Kashmir, inaugurated the annual graduation show named ‘Fashion Nova’ at NIFT Campus Budgam. Lavasa, along with Monica Gupta, Director, NIFT, visited the stalls set up by the graduate students and inspected their final projects.
The NIFT campus located in Budgam organizes this annual show for undergraduate students completing their courses in fashion design, accessories and other subjects. The show provides an opportunity for students to showcase their work.
The Secretary of the Transport Department visited each stall where the students had displayed various products made by them to showcase their skills. The graduates also explained the importance of their products and pointed out their uniqueness.

Anjum Negi, a student from Dehradun, expressed her excitement for the festival and said that she learned a lot at NIFT after completing two years in college. Speaking to ANI, Anjum Negi said, “I am very excited about this festival. I learned a lot. I never expected such education in Kashmir. The teachers here are very good. Kashmir is a perfect blend of education and nature.”
100 students obtained degree
At ‘Fashion Nova’, 100 students graduated from various disciplines including Fashion Designing, Fashion Communication, Fashion and Life Accessories and Fashion Management. (ANI)
