During this the terrorists opened fire indiscriminately. It is being told that a driver and another person were sitting in the ambulance at that time. This ambulance was going towards Kerry’s military camp.
As soon as the terrorists opened fire, the people in the ambulance somehow saved their lives by bending down. The sound of bullets was coming everywhere. As soon as information about this incident was received, Jammu Kashmir Police and Army personnel reached the spot. Three terrorists were involved in this cowardly act.

This attack was also strongly condemned by the Chief Minister of the state Omar Abdullah. He expressed grief over the incident by sharing a post on social media. He had said that the attack on army vehicles in Botapathri area is a very unfortunate news.
Terrorist incidents have been continuously increasing for some time now. A few days ago, terrorists had carried out a major incident in Sonamarg area of Ganderbal district in which seven people, including a doctor and five outsiders, were killed, while five others were seriously injured.
