Ingredients required to make Jalaram Khaman

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1/2 cup semolina
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • ginger paste
  • Asafoetida
  • oil mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing.

How to make Jalaram Khaman

  • Mixing gram flour, semolina, curd, oil
    Leave it for 8 hours for the yeast to rise, then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, sugar, ginger-chilli paste and salt.
  • Add baking soda. – Keep the mixture for 10-15 minutes. – Now add some water to the dhokli and keep it on the gas, apply oil in the dhokli plate and put this mixture in it. Then cook for 20 minutes.
  • – After kneading the dough, take it out and flatten it with a ladle and add oil to it. Your Jalaram Khaman is ready.
  • Instead of gram flour, you can soak gram dal for 8 hours and grind it in a mixer. You can also add a little rice flour to the dough.
