A case of fraud of Rs 59 lakh has come to light in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. This fraud has been done through MMS i.e. obscene videos. An elderly man has become the victim of fraud worth lakhs. Where two youths gave intoxicant in cold drink to a 62 year old retired LIC officer. After this a video of the old man was made. By threatening to make this video viral, the youth cheated Rs 59 lakh from the old man through cash and cheque. At the same time, now the victim old man has lodged a complaint against two youths in Madan Mahal police station. After the complaint, the police has started searching for both the accused.
In fact, last 3 years ago the elderly officer had met two youths, Vikram Thakur and Pradeep Patel, residents of Gotegaon in Narsinghpur district. Within a few days, the old man’s friendship with Vikram and Pradeep became very deep. All three also started meeting each other.
The youth’s eyes fell on the house and house of the elderly
Meanwhile, both the youths were focused on the old man’s house, house and money. Where both the youth started meeting the old man daily. Taking advantage of the opportunity, both the youth made MMS of the old man by intoxicating him in Coldring. Started blackmailing through video.
Gradually 59 lakhs got angry with the elderly
First, he did whatever the two young men told him. After that he started demanding more money. If the money was not paid, the youth threatened to make the video viral. Sometimes one lakh and sometimes five lakh. By doing this, both the youths have so far collected Rs 59 lakh from the old man. Fed up with illegal recovery, the victim has filed an FIR in Madan Mahal police station of Jabalpur.
Case registered under illegal extortion and IT Act
The old man told the police that Pradeep Patel and Vikram Singh Thakur, residents of Gotegaon in Narsinghpur district, first befriended him. Made his video. Threatening to make the video viral, they have so far cheated Rs 59 lakh through checks and cash. After this, Madan Mahal police took the matter seriously and registered a case against both the youth under sections of illegal extortion and IT Act and formed a team. The accused are being searched vigorously.
