Railways has decided to run many special trains regarding Diwali and Chhath festival. These include many trains for Mumbai, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. train number 03501 (Asansol-Katihar special train) will depart from Asansol at 14:30 pm on 3rd November and reach Katihar at 1:30 am the next day. In return, train number 03502 (Katihar-Asansol special train) will depart from Katihar at 4:15 am on the 4th and reach Asansol at 14:45 pm on the same day.
train number 03507 (Asansol-Nauvatanwan special train) will depart from Asansol at 16:05 pm on 2nd and reach Nautanwan at 7:35 am the next day. In return, train number 03508 (Nauvatanwan-Asansol special train) will depart from Nautanwan at 8:40 am on 3rd and reach Asansol at 1:25 pm the next day.
train number 01009 (Bi-weekly special) LTT will depart from Mumbai at 12.15 pm on Monday and Saturday on 26th and 28th October, 2nd and 4th November and reach Danapur at 17.00 pm the next day.
