A 28-year-old IT engineer, himself a father of a child, still has to take his father’s help to go to office. Pritesh Lakhani, founder of Ahmedabad-based company ‘Newcons’, has shared a post on X (earlier Twitter), which has now gone viral. Pritesh wrote, ‘Devils are not born; Sometimes they are made through horoscopes or horoscopes.
Lakhani told that the 28 year old boy whom he met had not been allowed to drive any vehicle till date. The only reason for this is that in his childhood horoscope it was written that if he drives a car, he can kill someone. Due to this fear, his family did not even allow him to ride a bicycle in his childhood. The result was that despite being married and the father of a child, the young man is still dropped by his father to the office every day. Hearing this, Lakhani could not stop himself and asked the boy’s father, ‘What is written about Artificial Intelligence (AI) in your son’s horoscope?’
As soon as this post went viral, people started commenting. Many people expressed surprise at following such superstitions despite having such good education. A user named Sarthak Lohia wrote, ‘I am not surprised by astrology, I am surprised by the fact that people put their intelligence and discretion at stake for it.’

Sharing his friend’s experience, another user wrote, ‘A friend of mine never married. Because it was written in his horoscope that his wife would die if he married. Despite having very good relations, and despite being so educated himself, he continued to live in this superstition.
