Traditionally a one-sided affair in the ISL era, the rivalry has seen Mohun Bagan dominate, with East Bengal managing just one draw in 10 meetings. However, this season tells a very different story.
Under Spanish coach Oscar Bruzon, East Bengal have undergone a remarkable transformation, emerging as genuine title contenders.
