Ishan Kishan: Indian team’s wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan, who played an important role in the victory of ICC T20 World Cup 2026, has been honored by the Bihar government. Bihar’s Gaurav Ishan has been given a reward of Rs 1 crore by the state government for being a member of the World Cup winning team and his important contribution in winning the title. Amidst IPL 2026, Ishan Kishan met Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. The Chief Minister shared photos of this occasion on his X handle.

On this occasion, along with CM Samrat Chaudhary, Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, Deepak Kumar were also present. At the same time, Bihar’s young fast bowler Shakib Hussain also met Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. Shakib Hussain has recently debuted in IPL. He is playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad team, Ishan Kishan is also a part of this team.
Strong performance by Ishan Kishan
Ishan Kishan had performed very strongly in the T20 World Cup 2026. He scored 317 runs in 9 matches at an average of 35.22. Which also included 3 half-century innings. He stood second in terms of scoring the most runs for India in this tournament. On the basis of which Team India won the T20 World Cup title for the third time.
