These days, the season of weddings and marriage ceremonies is going on. Wherever you look, wedding processions are seen dancing. Due to the dance of these wedding processions, traffic jams are being created every day. One such jam took place in Bhadaura market of Ghazipur district. As soon as the traffic jam started, a car was seen in which huge quantity of liquor bottles were kept. When the wedding guests saw the liquor bottles in the car, they started making noise. Hearing the noise of the wedding procession, the driver left the car and ran away. When the police arrived on information, a huge quantity of boxes of illicit liquor were recovered from the vehicle, which were being taken for supply in Bihar.
Even after the implementation of prohibition law in Bihar, liquor smuggling continues to be in full swing. Liquor smugglers are engaged in smuggling liquor without any restriction. A similar case was seen two days ago late evening in Bhadaura market. When a liquor smuggler was carrying boxes full of liquor in a Brezza car. During this time a procession was taking place in the market. All the wedding guests were busy dancing, singing and having fun.
Driver stuck in hurry
The car driver was constantly trying to clear the way by blowing the horn and the wedding guests were busy dancing and singing. Meanwhile, someone’s eyes went to the mirror inside the car, in which liquor bottles were seen. Then slowly, one by one, the wedding guests started surrounding the vehicle. Seeing himself surrounded, the driver somehow ran away leaving the vehicle there.
Liquor smuggling was to happen in Bihar!
After this incident, local people informed the police. After this the police reached the spot. When the car was opened and seen, apart from the driver’s seat, the entire car was filled with liquor bottles. It was feared that it was being taken to be smuggled somewhere in Bihar, because the Bihar border is located at a distance of only 10 to 15 kilometers from Bhadaura market.
Liquor worth Rs 1.5 lakh found
While issuing a statement in this matter, CO Zamania said that suspicious vehicles were being investigated by the police. Then a Brezza car driver started running away after seeing the police.
