After TMC in West Bengal and Uddhav’s Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, now voices of rebellion are being raised in Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh too. A UP minister has claimed that many SP leaders are ready to join the NDA.
Lucknow: Everything is not going well in the ‘INDIA’ alliance after the recent assembly elections. There are reports of rebellion in parties one after the other. In West Bengal, leaders of Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC are talking about supporting NDA, while in Maharashtra, the rebellion in Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena is also intensifying. Meanwhile, now there are signs of a split in the main opposition party of Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party (SP). UP Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has created a political uproar by tweeting.
Samajwadi Party leaders in touch with NDA
Om Prakash Rajbhar has claimed that a major reshuffle is going to happen in the politics of Uttar Pradesh soon. He said that many leaders of Samajwadi Party are ready to support NDA. Rajbhar created a sensation by tweeting that senior SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav is already in touch with BJP. According to him, after Ram Gopal Yadav, many other SP leaders are also preparing to join NDA.
Rajbhar also claimed that Ram Gopal Yadav has appealed to Amit Shah. He said that the heat of Gomti River Front scam is reaching the leaders of Samajwadi Party and due to this many leaders are planning to change the party.
Samajwadi Party’s counterattack
Samajwadi Party has hit back at these claims. SP spokesperson Manish Singh said, “There is no rebellion in the Samajwadi Party. There are more MLAs in our party than the total leaders and workers in Om Prakash Rajbhar’s party ‘Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party’. They should see their party first. The Samajwadi Party is stronger than before.”
At present, news of rebellion in regional parties has become common in the country. It is claimed that 58 TMC MLAs and MPs have supported NDA. At the same time, the heat of rebellion is being felt in Uddhav Thackeray’s faction Shiv Sena. On this, Uddhav Thackeray said, “Whoever is leaving the party, they are free to go. But there is no rebellion in the party.”
