Is Tesla…or Tata, this is how China is capturing the world’s EV market.

At present, the wind is blowing all over the world regarding electric mobility. While Tesla is the most popular company in the world, Tata Motors has maintained its dominance in markets like India, but if we look at the global market, China is giving tension to the big names. After all how?

Many Chinese auto companies are now continuously focusing their attention on electric vehicles. They are not only designing products keeping the domestic market in mind, but are also paying a lot of attention to their export.

71 new vehicles are coming

Chinese car companies are going to launch 71 battery-powered vehicles this year. Most of these vehicles are going to have a tall cabin, bold look and more storage space like an SUV. This will work to meet the increasing demand for SUVs somewhere in the world.

Not only this, China is also gradually developing self-driving cars. According to Reuters news, data security management rules have been approved in China this week. While this will help Tesla to increase its sales, Chinese companies will also be able to move in this direction.

Chinese companies are challenging like this

China’s BYD is at the forefront in the matter of electric cars and gives tough competition to Tesla. BYD has proved its mettle in the world in terms of its battery technology. Whereas Geely is a Chinese car company which beats many other companies of the world in cutting-edge technology.

Similarly, Geely has formed Jiyue company in joint venture, which is now investing heavily in driver-assistance software. Baidu is the most prominent artificial intelligence company in China. It also supports Tesla’s self-driving in China. The world’s largest electric car battery maker is China’s CATL, which can be charged enough to go 370 miles in 10 minutes, while it can go up to 620 miles in 30 minutes.

Tata or Tesla are nowhere ahead of China

Now if we look at Tesla on this parameter, most of its models are old. After Cybertruck, it has not announced any new model, although an upgraded version of the old model is expected. Whereas apart from Tata Motors, other auto companies in India are going to launch about 40-45 new electric cars in 2024. There are chances of 4 models of Tata Group coming in it. But there is a big difference in their launch and delivery. At the same time, Mahindra & Mahindra models have also not been able to perform well in the market.
