Sreeleela appears to be going through a difficult phase in her career, with reports suggesting that she has missed out on several high-profile projects in recent months.
The actress missed out on Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin and Anaganaga Oka Raju, both of which went on to become successful films this year. In addition, she was also said to be the original choice for Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda.
Now, industry buzz suggests that another major opportunity has slipped away.
According to reports, Sreeleela was initially considered for the female lead in Ajith Kumar’s upcoming Tamil action entertainer, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. However, the makers have now finalized Kayadu Lohar for the role.
The reasons behind the change remain unconfirmed. She is currently acting in Dhanush’s film, OM. However, none of these claims have been officially confirmed by the actress or the film’s makers.
Despite these reported setbacks, Sreeleela continues to have multiple films in Tamil and Hindi in hand.
