According to a new report in India Today, Katrina Kaif is thinking about an acting comeback in Bollywood. She may not be coming back to the big screen, but instead to the small screen with a streaming platform. The report states that Katrina has been reading screenplays and weighing potential projects to act on.

The source states that Katrina is returning to films by the second half of 2027 and “is actively looking for the right script, something that is worth her time.” The report adds that the Sooryavanshi actress is more keen to explore streaming projects that could provide better opportunities for actors.
Several actresses like Bhumi Pednekkar and Ananya Panday have already headlined series like The Royals and Call Me Bae, respectively, while also working on features for the big screen. If Katrina chooses a streaming project, she will be making her OTT debut by next year.

After her marriage to actor in 2021, Katrina continued to sign new films. Her last round of films included Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi in 2021 and the horror comedy Phone Bhoot in 2022. Katrina reprised her role as Pakistani spy Zoya in the action film Tiger 3 with Salman Khan in 2023 and concluded her run with the crime thriller Merry Christmas in 2024, which released in both Hindi and Tamil.
