Actor Ravi Teja is making a huge comeback after a few flops. His latest movie, ‘Irumudi’, is doing fantastic business at the box office.
Ravi Teja is a massive star in Telugu cinema with a huge fan following. However, his last few films didn’t quite hit the mark at the box office. But now, the response to his latest movie has taken the entire Telugu industry by surprise.
The film is ‘Irumudi’, written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. This action-drama hit theatres on the 21st. Thanks to great word-of-mouth from the first shows, the film is now racing ahead at the box office. According to industry trackers Sacnilk, the film’s gross collection from India has already reached ₹36.45 crore.
The net collection stands at ₹31.40 crore. When you add overseas earnings, the film’s total global collection is a whopping ₹47.45 crore. To put this in perspective, Ravi Teja’s highest-grossing solo hero film until now was ‘Dhamaka’ (2022), which had a final global gross of ₹84.7 crore. ‘Irumudi’ is expected to break that record in just a few days. This film could also be Ravi Teja’s ticket to his first-ever 100-crore club as a solo hero.
Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sai Kumar, and Baby Nakshatra also play important roles in the movie. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. It’s presented by Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, and T-Series Films. The music director is G. V. Prakash Kumar. Other key crew members include co-producer Shiv Chanana, cinematographer Vishnu Sharma, editor Praveen Pudi, production designer Sahi Suresh, chief executive producer Dinesh Narasimhan, action directors Ram-Lakshman and Real Sathish, and choreographers Sekhar V. J. and Baba Bhaskar.
