After this spectacular victory, RCB shared a special video on social media on Monday, in which the team’s head coach Andy Flower is seen praising star batsman Virat Kohli. Along with this, Virat Kohli was also seen taking off the team jersey in the dressing room.
Why did Virat change his jersey in the dressing room?
Actually, after winning the match on the field, Virat Kohli was suddenly seen taking off his RCB jersey in the dressing room and wore a new red colored jersey, which is also visible in this video. However, the reason behind this is very special and related to celebration, which made this title celebration of RCB more memorable.
After hoisting the flag of victory on the field, when the entire team reached the dressing room, there was a big surprise ready for the players. RCB management had prepared a very special ‘Champion Jersey’ to celebrate the team becoming the champion. In such a situation, after reaching the dressing room, all the players of the team including Virat Kohli took off their match jersey and started celebrating the victory by wearing this new ‘Champion Jersey’.

Andy Flower’s big statement on Virat
Coach Andy Flower has described the passion shown by Virat in making RCB the champion on the field as the biggest inspiration for the dressing room. In the video, head coach Andy Flower said a heart touching thing while appreciating the contribution of Virat Kohli in front of the team. He said for Virat, ‘”Virat, I know very well that you get a lot of limelight, and that is absolutely right. But I do not want to minimize the importance of this at all, because you are the heartbeat of this dressing room.’
Andy Flower not only praised Virat’s game but also his fighting attitude. He further said that the kind of courage that Virat continuously shows on the field is a great example for the entire team. Virat’s biggest specialty is to test himself every time he comes out on the field and stands up for his team. The fearlessness with which Virat competes when there is a strong team in front becomes a great source of learning and an excellent model for the rest of the RCB players.
