Priyansh Arya vs Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: Punjab Kings (PBKS) young explosive batsman Priyansh Arya caught everyone’s attention by playing a stormy innings in IPL 2026. In the match played against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Maharaja Yadwinder Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, 24 year old Priyansh scored 93 runs in just 37 balls. This innings of Priyansh Arya was very aggressive. He hit 4 fours and 9 sixes, due to which his strike rate was 251.35.

Priyansh Arya opened the match and gave a stormy start to the Punjab team. He completed his half-century in just 19 balls, but was out after reaching the threshold of the century. He was caught by Mitchell Marsh on the ball of Manimaran Siddharth and missed creating history in the IPL. If he had touched the 100-run mark, he would have become the first batsman to score 2 centuries as an uncapped player in the IPL.
However, due to this innings of Priyansh Arya, Punjab team managed to score a strong score of 254 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. During this, he made a tremendous partnership of 182 runs with Cooper Connolly for the third wicket. Cooper Connolly also scored 87 runs in 46 balls. This partnership of both took Punjab Kings to a huge score.
This batsman is deadlier than Vaibhav Suryavanshi
