International Emmy Awards 2024 was organized on 25 November, in which Hindi cinema actor and standup comedian Vir Das was the host. This event is presented by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS). This year’s award function is very special, because this is the first time that the Emmy Award has been hosted by an Indian. This award is one of the popular awards around the world. It is housed in the New York Hilton Midtown.
A total of 56 artistes from 21 countries have been nominated for the 52nd International Emmy Award. This time this award has been divided into 14 different categories. This includes many categories including Best Actor, Actress, Comedian, Docu Drama Series, Kids Animation, Art Programming. ‘The Night Manager’ missed the award
Talking about Veer Das, he received the Emmy Award in the year 2023. This year, Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shobhita Dhulipala starrer web series ‘The Night Manager’ was also nominated in the Best Drama category. But, this award has been received by the French drama series Les Gautes de Dieu (Drops of God).
