Chief Minister Mohan Yadav laid the foundation stone of Satgarhi Smart Industrial Park in the name of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in Bhopal. This will provide 15,000 jobs. The CM also announced the implementation of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state soon.
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [भारत]July 6 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday laid the foundation stone of Satgarhi Smart Industrial Park and Convention Center in Bhopal on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. Mukherjee founded the Bharatiya Jana Sangh on October 21, 1951, the ideological predecessor of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
15,000 jobs and new industrial corridor
CM Yadav also announced that the industrial park will be named after India’s first Industries Minister Dr. Mukherjee. He emphasized that the project will generate more than 15,000 jobs and will be a major step towards developing a new industrial corridor around the state capital.
“We deliver what we promise. The industrial areas being developed across the state will create new avenues of prosperity for farmers, create employment opportunities for the youth and strengthen industries. Our government is connecting farms to factories and industries to markets,” the Chief Minister said.
MP’s largest convention center
The CM further informed that a modern convention center with a seating capacity of 10,000 will be developed on 25 acres in Satgarhi and it will be the largest convention center in Madhya Pradesh. Satgarhi Smart Industrial Park is located just 25 kilometers from Raja Bhoj Airport and 15 kilometers from Rani Kamalapati Railway Station. The proposed Western Bypass of Bhopal will also pass through this area.
Big announcement on Uniform Civil Code also
Speaking on the Uniform Civil Code, CM Yadav said that the state government is moving towards implementing it this month. He said, “Syama Prasad Mukherjee had envisioned ‘One Nation, One Constitution, One Flag, One Head’. In line with that vision, the state government is moving towards implementing the Uniform Civil Code this month. The law should be equal for every section of the society. The committee formed for the purpose sought suggestions from members of all religions and communities to ensure that no one is discriminated against.”
MoU worth Rs 86,000 crore signed
Additionally, the Chief Minister said that during the state’s “Krishak Kalyan Varsh” since January, memoranda of understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 86,000 crore have been signed with investors, creating employment opportunities across the state. (ANI)
