There was a big uproar in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh on the second day of Diwali. The dispute that started between two parties regarding bursting of firecrackers in Chhatripura police station area turned into fighting, stone pelting and arson. Stones were thrown at houses, bikes and autos were handed over. The situation reached such a stage that heavy police force had to be deployed on the spot. Till late night, top police and administration officials are patrolling the area and appealing to maintain peace.
Children of a family living in Chhatripura police station area were bursting crackers outside their house on the second day of Diwali, i.e. on November 1. Meanwhile, Salman, Sanu, Javed and others living in front of the house asked not to burst crackers. On this the family said that our Diwali festival comes once in a year so we will burst crackers. Due to this, Salman, Sanu and Javed started arguing with their family members. The matter reached the level of fighting between both the parties.

Salman, Sanu and Javed also called some of their other associates on the spot and started beating the family. During this period, the youths also beat up the women of the house. When some youth present at the spot protested against the assault, Salman, Sanu and Javed along with their associates pelted stones at their houses, in which more than four people were injured. The accused set fire to the bikes and autos parked in the locality.
Police calmed down the ruckus
As soon as Hindu organizations got information about this dispute, they reached the spot and started creating ruckus. As soon as information about the ruckus and uproar was received, Chhatripura police station also reached the spot. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, top officials of the police and administration also reached the spot and a large number of police forces were deployed at the scene of disturbance. Police and administration officials started patrolling.
There is pressure to vacate the house
Sumit Hardiya of Hindu Jagran Manch told that about four to five Hindu families live in the area where this dispute took place. In the last few years, a large number of Muslim families have bought houses there. There are constant disputes between the Muslim families who have bought houses there. Recently, during Ganesh Utsav also a situation of controversy had arisen there. Some youth had threatened to vacate the house in time.
Additional Police Commissioner got the children to set off fireworks
Additional Police Commissioner Amit Singh also reached the area where the uproar took place and made the children burst fireworks. After about five to six hours of hard work, the police established peace in the entire area. Additional Police Commissioner Amit Singh said that if anyone tries to create unrest in the area, strict action will be taken against him.
Police registered FIR against 4 accused
In the area where there was a sudden incident of stone pelting and arson, the police fear that some outside elements are trying to spoil the atmosphere of the area, due to which people coming from outside will be investigated in every house. So the area will also be monitored through drones. Police have registered a case against four people in the case. These four are still absconding. Police is busy searching for them.
