How to give fertilizer?
For fertilizing, special orchid fertilizer or a small amount of general houseplant feed can be used. Provide water without fertilizer every fourth time, so that excess salt can come out. After about two years or when the bark of the pot gets damaged, replant it in new orchid mix. Roots sticking out of the pot are normal and do not need to be cut unless they are dry or damaged.
