IndiGo is set to introduce its first business class service on November 14. The announcement follows the arrival of the airline’s inaugural aircraft equipped with a business class cabin, marking a new chapter in IndiGo’s journey to cater to a broader segment of air travellers.
The debut business class flights will operate on the highly popular Delhi-Mumbai route and the airline plans to conduct six daily flights.

Each of these flights will feature 12 business class seats, totaling 72 business class seats across the six flights daily.

IndiGo has set a flat fare of ₹18,018 for all business class seats, positioning itself competitively in the market.

Looking ahead, by early January 2025, all flights on the Delhi-Mumbai route are expected to feature a business class cabin. By March 2025, business class will be available on flights from Delhi to Bengaluru and Chennai, further extending the reach within the domestic market.

In the next 14 months, IndiGo aims to induct as many as 45 aircraft equipped with business class seating. These planes will cater to 12 routes and operate 268 daily flights.

IndiGo’s entry into the business class segment comes at a time when domestic air travel is witnessing a surge in demand and IndiGo controls about 63% of the domestic passenger traffic and the airline expects to boost that share and expand its customer base with the new business class offering.
